Wtf were they going to do with the mammoth, derelict department store? I'm reminded of a quote by John Sinclair "There never going to rebuild Detroit... What for? What are they going to do with it?" So If the Hudsons Bldg. and the Lafayette Bldg had been "saved" wtf would a city designed for 2 million people (now home to 800k) do with these ruins?
