The Old Hudson’s Building

Posted by: kim pat   in Detroit

It was such a sad site to see this go. It was inevitable, of course. After the riots and the “white flight”, there wasn’t enough business for them to remain, but it does bring back some really good memories. A true landmark of Detroit.

The old Hudsons building was a true landmark that could have been saved. Unfortunatly it went the way of the old city hall. We in Detroit continully keep loosing our great landmarks. I’m glad the old county building is still there. It reminds me of what it might have been like if the old city hall had not faced the wrecking ball;.
